Moots

Moots are an important part of Garou society, but they are incredibly difficult to run in a forum setting. Due to this fact, while in-character it will be assumed that moots are being held on a regular monthly basis, plus when warranted by holiday, out-of-character these will typically be off-screen events. We will instead have a rolling thread for moot tales and the Cracking of the Bone, where players can post their tales or issues for the bone as they occur, and they will be deemed to have been sung or voiced in that month's moot. With the Cracking of the Bone, this will by necessity mean that there is no response permitted - it is instead the airing of an issue to be put to rest after being voiced. Anything in either of those threads will be deemed to have been voiced before the entire gathered sept.

We will occasionally hold on-screen moots, though this will not be done at any set schedule, but rather as gameplay permits. This is to avoid ongoing and overlapping moot threads, and an effort to avoid out-of-character repetitiveness. Even with the Fianna custom of capping moots with wild revels, such things can get old roleplaying every month or even every three months, particularly as given the number of characters involved those threads will take a long time to resolve.
